The use of resin to create a driveway, patio, or path gives your property a stunning aesthetic finish. This will also increase your home’s value. Resin has many additional benefits, not only is it more eco-friendly than concrete.

Eco-Friendly

Resin bound patios, driveways, and paths are 10 times more environmentally friendly than concrete. Resin bound surfaces are made from natural stone and high-quality resin that is free of solvents. They are strong enough to withstand the elements, but not as harmful to the environment.

The permeable nature our resin driveways patios and pathways allows water to naturally drain away. This helps reduce the risk of flooding in an eco-friendly and sustainable way.

Sustainable Urban Drainage Compliant

October 2008 legislation was passed to apply to households. This means that any paving greater than 5sqm at the property’s front must be permeable. Any paving less than that would require planning permission. This is also known in planning as Sustainable Urban Drainage or UUDs.

Resin bound driveways and patios are permeable. This is one of the main solutions for meeting the SUDs requirements. Resin driveways, patios and paths are not subject to planning permission. They are encouraged by the Environmental Agency as they help reduce surface water runoff and flood risk.

Hard Wearing, Durable & Long Lasting

All materials used in our resin driveway, patio and path are carefully sourced. They are made from 100% natural stones from Europe and the UK. We have conducted extensive testing on various aggregate mixes and strength assessments to ensure that we cover all aspects of performance for commercial and residential installations.

Our resins are made with the most advanced polymer technology to create a durable and resilient surface. They also have a unique durability and longevity that is unmatched in the industry. We use high quality materials to create a driveway, patio, path or walkway that is durable and lasts for many years.

Low Maintenance

Resin driveways can be used to create patios and paths. They are more durable than traditional surfacing methods, but are also very low maintenance.

As the binding agent, resin provides a seal that is impervious to cracks. This means that you won’t have to worry about weeds growing in the joints. Because the resin is flexible, it is resistant to flaking or cracking. This means that you don’t have to repoint flags, block paving or top up gravel that has been washed away.

The driveway, patio and path are beautiful year after year.

UV Stable, Resistant Against Fading

We use ResinBound UVR Pro, which is the best choice for polyurethane resins. It has been specifically formulated to be used in resin bound driveways and patios. It is UV stable. This means resin bound aggregates will not change colour, yellow, or fade in the UV light.

We are proud to offer a 25-year colour lock guarantee from the manufacturer for the ResinBound UVR Pro resin. This is because of its quality and testing.

Stain Resistant

Resin driveways, patios, and paths are more resistant to staining than traditional surfacing like concrete, tarmac, and stone. The resin acts as a sealant on the natural stone, stopping any staining substances like oil from getting into the aggregates.

The porous surface of the final surface allows for residues that could stain non-permeable surfaces to be naturally washed away, rather than being absorbed.

Weed Resistant

The clever cellular design of resin bound surfaces makes patios, driveways, and paths resistive to weeds. Because of its porous nature, water is not retained in the surface and this can cause roots to become resistant.

The single, continuous surface of a resin driveway/patio or path is combined with flexibility to reduce the risk of cracks and reduce the number of joints.

Anti Slip Properties

All resin driveways, patios and pathways we install follow manufacturer recommendations. This ensures exceptional anti-slip characteristics. All surfaces that we offer meet or exceed the safety requirements of BS7976-2 guidelines have been tested. A ‘Pendulum-Test Value’ (PVT), was used to measure anti-slip qualities. A 36-point PTV value corresponds to the requirements of The Health and Safety Executive. The higher the value, the better the slip resistance.

Our lowest finish has a PVT of 69. Many others have a PVT of 75 or higher.
